The famous painting of the Milkmaid by Johannes Vermeer has been digitally manipulated and placed in a side room of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam. This work is full of surprises. For example, the Night Watch, the masterpiece of Rembrandt van Rijn, hangs on the wall. In the foreground is the girl with the pearl earring looking out into the world.
This work is unique in its kind and an eyecatcher on every wall!
About image-maker Peter Bartelings: as a born and bred Amsterdammer I feel -also as a photographer and image-maker- closely connected to the city of Amsterdam. Besides the Amsterdam collection, there is also work from other cities in the Netherlands, such as Haarlem, Groningen, Zwolle, Leiden, Delft etc. In addition, I have also made many works in France and Germany. Moreover, over the years I have built up an interesting collection of digital art, including adaptations of old masters that have been given a new look and fit perfectly into a modern interior.
My work is internationally known and hangs besides the Netherlands, also in Belgium and Germany on the walls of clients.
I set high standards for my products. Therefore, I believe that the works are an enrichment to your wall, at home or at the office. You can always contact me with questions about a specific work.
Buyers of my work do me a huge favor if they send a picture of where the purchased work hangs to: p.bartelings@gmail.com
