I took this photo around a quarter to eleven in the evening on 6 June 2012 on the Ginkelse Heide near Ede (Gld). The tree and the plume grass were exposed with two flash units. While photographing, I had already noticed that a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle with extinguished lights had driven by a few hundred metres away. When I left again packed with all the equipment, I was welcomed by the forest ranger and his loudly barking dog. Whether I knew that access was prohibited between sunset and sunrise ? "In fairness to me, I did indeed know this, sir. But I am a photographer and some pictures are worth taking risks. And I necessarily wanted a picture of this tree." My passion appealed to him, as he let me go with a warning and a smile. Even his dog stopped barking !
