About ‘The mushrooms and the giant’ by Maayke Klaver
Tiny mushrooms grow on the bark of a giant tree in the forest near Zeist. Evening light shines through the forest, creating a mysterious atmosphere. The tiny mushrooms lead our eyes to the crown of the tree catching evening sunlight. The low perspective combined with the wide-angle lens gives this photo a unique character.
