About the artwork

The picture shows an old, worn football lying on a wooden pole. The leather is faded and scuffed, and only a few remnants of the former orange colour can be seen. At first glance, the ball seems to have had its day, as if its best years are long behind it. But there is more to this picture than meets the eye. In the background, a wide, green meadow spreads out and majestic trees tower into the sky. It seems as if the old football takes on a new meaning in this idyllic setting. Perhaps it is just an old relic of days gone by, but perhaps it also holds the memory of past victories and unforgettable moments. The picture reminds us that there can also be a certain magic in supposedly disused things and that sometimes it is worth taking a closer look to see the beauty that lies hidden within.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
