Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘The poppy’ by Sandra Schmidt

On my journey through the Mediterranean region, I was inspired by old ship hulls and so I created a series of pictures in which I combined old materials, photographed plants and flowers and brought them together.
The rusty-looking background contrasts with the delicate, almost fragile poppy. The end and the blossoming - old and new.

The picture appears almost three-dimensional through the interplay of light and shadow of the flower as well as the background, which makes the structure easily recognisable.

I compiled the still life of the poppy from several photographs.
