About the artwork

"The little guardian" playfully refers to the dog. Although it is so small, it always protects its mistress. It is a tender statement: the small animal becomes a protector, guarding its owner's world with attention and loyalty, and the contrast between the delicate, almost childlike appearance of the dog and the venerable, ornamental surroundings emphasises that protection is not a question of size. At the same time, the name reflects the reciprocal role - the dog protects emotionally, comforts and maintains vigilance, while the woman gives him security, and so the scene represents a loving game with expectations: the power does not lie with the larger, but with the bond between the two.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
