On the shores of the clear Seealpsee lake, where the water is so pure that it harbours heaven, it grows - the dwarf rowan, Sorbus chamaemespilus. Its red fruits glow like small fires in the green of summer, a silent promise of life and renewal. Next to it stands the mountain service tree, firmly rooted in the barren soil, as a witness to the ancient forces that have shaped this landscape.
Behind the tranquil lake rises the Seeköpfle, 1919 metres high, a guardian of rock and grass. Its reflection dances on the surface of the water, blown by the gentle breeze. The Allgäu Alps spread out all around, a mosaic of stone, meadows and dark forests. Time rests differently here, slower, deeper - as if you were listening to the heartbeat of the mountains themselves.
Between heaven and earth, between silence and sound, plants, water and rock interweave to form a picture of perfection. The rowan berries on the shore remind us that beauty often lies in small things: an inconspicuous shrub whose fruits shine like precious stones. And so Seealpsee becomes a mirror not only of the mountains, but also of the soul, which loses itself in its clarity.
