Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

The algae-covered rocks on the beach of Katwijk aan Zee. They have been placed here to ensure that the sand is not carried into the sea when the excess fresh water from the Rhine enters the North Sea. Photo was taken during sunset in the summer of 2019. It seems as if the algae on the rocks even become a little fluorescent when it gets…
