About "The sculpted rice fields of Banaue"

About the artwork

The Banaue rice terraces, located in the mountainous region of the Philippines, are a veritable masterpiece sculpted by the ancestors of the Ifugaos over 2,000 years ago. Captured here in black and white, these landscapes offer a timeless vision, where light and shade reveal every detail of the carefully tended terraces. These agricultural structures, often referred to as the "eighth wonder of the world" bear witness to the perfect harmony between man and nature. The elegant curves of the terraces, the clouds floating over the peaks and the morning mist create a mystical, almost unreal atmosphere. The monochrome accentuates the textures, from the stone walls to the rice fields undulating in the wind.
Walking through these landscapes, you can feel the serenity and respect that these places inspire. Each terrace is not only a space for cultivation, but also a representation of the history, resilience and culture of the local people. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
