Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘The shadow of the Texel lighthouse.’ by Jose Lok

The Texel lighthouse stands high on the northern tip of the island, atop the dunes. When the sun is low in the sky, particularly in the early morning or late afternoon, the tower casts a long, sharp shadow that stretches across the sand and vegetation.

That shadow acts as a kind of visual arrow: it emphasises the tower’s height, it draws the eye towards the sea, and it lends the landscape an almost poetic tranquillity.

In this photo, you can see how the shadow runs diagonally across the beach, emphasising the emptiness of the beach and the vastness of Texel even more. It is a quintessential Texel moment: light, space and silence captured in a single frame.

My husband ( Arie Lok ) and I are both fanatical photographers so we regularly go out together to photograph beautiful landscapes, animals, birds and actually everything that is beautiful.
He with his Nikon and I with my Canon.
We were regularly asked to do something with these photos, this made me decide to open this webshop.
