About ‘The sick man &, the robin’ by Maus Jacobs

This work is part of the series ' "Entropie". Entropie is de tweede wet van de thermodynamica. Entropie is de maatstaf voor wanorde in de natuur. Alles ontaardt uiteindelijk in chaos en zal uiteindelijk vergaan. Het leven is een voortdurende strijd tegen de entropie van het universum. We vechten niet alleen tegen het overduidelijke verval van materiële zaken, zoals auto's', houses and the human body, but also against intangible things such as marriage, success and happiness. Habituation and routine gnaw away at marital bliss. Time crushes success. And happiness fades under the desire for more or something else. Everything is a struggle against decay, and humanity is the loser from the outset. That is not a problem as long as humanity is a good loser and accepts loss as inevitable.

Humanity is confronted with the worst decline through illness. And does everything it can to draw hope. This work was created with charcoal and graphite.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
