Isn't this the ideal place to escape from all the hustle and bustle. The cliff at your back, the beautiful water in front of you, sand under your toes and the sun warming everything. Here you will find just the peace you so desire. And to get there you have to make quite a descent through the jungle which is not entirely without risk. So no day-trippers, no distractions, just you and the quiet peace.
At best you will meet a local and some monkeys.
When I traveled around Bali for 2 months I became inspired by the landscape and the environment. Not only what I saw with my own eye, but also what I saw from other photographers.
My motivation caused a focus shift to landscape photography.
For this shot I used exposure bracketing. This involves shooting 5 photos in quick succession, with different exposures. This keeps the details in both the black and the high light.
For the processing, I chose a stronger contrast with still a fresh and light post-processing.
