Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘The sound of silence’ by Frank's Awesome Travels

The captain of our small cruise vessel promised us a special experience as he sailed into one of the side arms of the Doubtful Sound, Southland, New Zealand. After turning off the engines and asking everyone to be totally quiet we enjoyed the sound of silence.

Let me start by introducing myself. I'm Frank from the Netherlands, currently sixty-eight years old and retired for over a decade already. This gives me plenty of time to spend on one of the most fascinating hobbies I have, pho­tography. It combines really well with travelling, another passion of mine.
