Sorry, I can't understand you because the sound of the world is too loud!
This drawing, which I made in Procreate, visualises how sound enters me as an autistic person. Hypersensitivity, or sensory sensitivity, is common in autism. Being able to hear everything in so much detail is both overwhelming and enriching. But the amount of sound coming in simultaneously and unfiltered is often too much. Music, on the contrary, is often spectacular and a full-body experience. Besides, I often hear the softest sounds that another person cannot hear.
