About "The tightrope walker of harmony"

by Klaus Tesching

About the artwork

In the midst of an architectural dreamscape, where towers rise up like violin pegs and arches span the air like lute necks, a woman strides across a rope of sound. Her clothes are made from a yellowed map - a topographical chronicle of the inner world, drawn in tones and paths.

With both hands, she keeps her balance on a rope from which hang four small violins - pendulums of music that swing between the worlds. Above her left eye she wears a monocle made of stardust, while her pupils glow like moons - as if she is seeing through time and sound at the same time.

Her expression is calm, serene, almost unearthly. She does not move, she floats - guided by an invisible score. The buildings around her seem not only inhabited, but inhabited by music itself. Everything is vibration. Everything is composition.

"The tightrope walker of harmony" embodies the fine line between order and chaos, intuition and structure, art and control. She is not a musician - she is an instrument. Not a guide - but the path itself.

This picture is a parable about life as melody, about balance as a creative force. Whoever looks at it senses that the shortest path between two places is a note. And the highest art is to hold it.
