During the spring migration of the cranes, you might hear them before you see them. Impressive groups of hundreds of birds skim over our garden (Limburg, NL). The wingspan is clearly visible, sometimes battered by the long and harsh journey. The leading crane seems to be indicating to hold on a little longer, while looking back.

This artworks is offered by Bert Kok
Bert Kok (1982) was born in beautiful Limburg, with the forests a stone's throw away and the Meuse within reach. It's logical that after a while he picked up the camera to photograph all this beauty in the area. He prefers to go out without a fixed plan. Walking, listening, watching and discovering. Being amazed by nature, which can also be so beautiful close to home. He has no real preference for a branch of nature photography, but it is striking that most photos are made with a macro or telephoto zoom lens.
