Near Kawah Putih, the hills of Ciwidey are adorned with superb tea plantations that undulate as far as the eye can see. In this photo, the landscape reveals a striking contrast between the dense vegetation of the forest and the perfectly ordered stretches of tea fields. The bright green rows form a natural patchwork on the gentle slopes, while a light mist clings to the peaks, adding to the mysterious atmosphere. Winding paths wind through the crops, testifying to human activity in harmony with nature. The foreground is adorned by a large tree fern, emblematic of the region's tropical vegetation. As well as being spectacular, these landscapes play an essential role in Indonesian culture, with tea being one of the country's great agricultural prides. Between wilderness and agricultural development, the eye is lost in a mosaic of intense greens, magnified by the light filtering through the clouds. An invitation to contemplation and serenity in the heart of the mountains of West Java.
