This panorama offers a rare view of Paris, taken from the centre of a small roundabout. From there, the city unfolds symmetrically, calmly and impressively. The elegant residential buildings line up in a fan shape around the centre and impress with their fine façades, balconies, shutters and ornamental details.
The picture not only tells of architecture, but also of order and harmony in urban space. Each building appears individual and yet they are all connected. This Parisian perspective shows how form, function and beauty come together in a special way.
The inspiration for this work was a moment of stillness, despite the traffic and hustle and bustle. For a brief moment, the roundabout was empty and I had the opportunity to take in this panorama in peace. I wanted to capture the symmetry and architectural poetry that is often lost in passing.
The scene looks both organised and lively. It conveys a warm, urban feeling, the calm at the centre of the movement. The shot was created digitally, carefully balanced and fine-tuned for detail and lighting in post-production.
It is ideal for rooms where structure, depth and urban elegance are required, for example in modern living or working areas with a penchant for architecture.
