This dystopian picture reminds me of the novel "1984" by English novelist George Orwell. In it, much of the world fell victim to constant war, pervasive government surveillance, historical negationism and propaganda. I can imagine that rooms like the one shown in this picture had to be lived in.
This photo was taken in an old factory. The factory dates back to 1900 and has been empty since the early 1980s. It simply too expensive to demolish it.
This makes it a true paradise for Urbex photographers!
