A man made of lines. And a red division.
The basis of this work is a screen print. The man can reach the ground with his fingers. We may think he's working, but it's also possible he's testing his agility.
Slightly bent at the knees. But who is now completely without anything. Its flexibility is also a form of transparency, nakedness.
This man takes it like it is!
The human body inspires me. And I was challenged to represent it in lines, without the flatness of the work remaining too flat. The screen printing technique allows me to work freely and directly. And to apply a second color that is not too sterile in the existing form.
Normally I work with zinc. It was also like coming home.
This work leaves room for individuality. The naked without vulnerability or shame. It's free and stimulating.
