About ‘Thought Lines II – Expressive Line Composition’ by Katharina Roi

In ‘Thought Lines II’, flowing movements meet striking changes of direction and dynamic intersections. The abstract composition of lines may evoke a sense of inner restlessness, creative energy or a web of thoughts and decisions. Its meaning is deliberately left open and shifts with the viewer’s perspective. The work was drawn by hand on an iPad and digitally refined. It works particularly well as a modern statement piece in a living room, office or studio, or alongside “Thought Lines I” as a complementary pair.
