The three-coloured shining starling (Lamprotornis superbus) is a member of the family of spelunkers.
This bird has a length of 19 to 20 cm and has a blue-green head, with a green and blue metallic shine. The reddish/brown belly is separated from the chest by a narrow, white band. The low-tailed blankets are white. The bird has yellow eyes, a black beak and black legs.
