These photo's were taken during a workshop by photographer Arend Spaans.
Material: A lot of glasses - bought for a bargain at the thrift shop, colouring fluid, beer, bottle of wine and a flash on high speed to freeze every movement.
Collaboration was key: one assistant drops the glass or bottle on a cue and the photographer has to time well to print at the right moment.
That way, you get the most fun results with the different colour liquids.
In this photo, two filled wine glasses fell on top of each other. All the drops and shards are as it were 'frozen' by the high-speed flash.
Beautiful on the wall, especially as a series with other photos's from this album!
Cheers!
