Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Tiger and Turtle in Duisburg (7-10366) B+W’ by Franz Walter

Spectacular work of art and landmark

Tiger and Turtle - Magic Mountain has become a landmark in Duisburg. Modeled after a roller coaster, the walk-on work of art is one of the most photographed motifs of recent times. But it's not just photographers who are fascinated by Tiger and Turtle. Those who climb the steps to the loop are rewarded with a magnificent view.

The large sculpture by Heike Muter and Ulrich Gent is one of the landmarks on the Route of Industrial Culture in the Metropole Ruhr.

Original created by Franz Walter.

As a photographer and photo artist, I observe the world that surrounds me. Again and again there are experiences and sceneries that inspire me to press the shutter release. I try to capture the magic of such moments in my pictures. Thereby my individual PHOTOART is created.
