About ‘Timeless Trier’ by Alexander Aboud

Nestled quietly among the trees in Trier, Germany, this charming historic house immediately caught my attention with its distinctive architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by autumn colours and partially hidden within the landscape, the building feels almost like a scene from an old European story.

What inspired me about this image was the contrast between the warm architectural details and the dense natural surroundings. The traditional design, steep roof, and decorative facade reflect the timeless character often found in older German architecture, while the framing created by the trees adds depth and intimacy to the scene.

Rather than presenting the house as a documentary photograph, I wanted to capture the calm and nostalgic feeling of discovering hidden places during quiet walks through European cities and landscapes. The soft light and muted autumn tones create a warm and cinematic atmosphere that feels both peaceful and timeless.

For me, this image represents the harmony between architecture and nature — a quiet moment where history, design, and landscape coexist naturally. The artwork fits beautifully into interiors inspired by European culture, rustic elegance, and warm natural tones. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
