The Rheinfall is the largest waterfall in Europe and is located in the Rhine River, near the Swiss town of Schaffhausen, close to the border with Germany. We visited the area as our first stop on our way to Switzerland. it is touristy but absolutely worth it and the waterfall is even more impressive than we thought.
This thundering water violence should really be seen with your own eyes. Here you will be quiet! You can make use of the hiking trails or for a fee with a boat to a number of vantage points.
We also climbed the lookout point on the other side which gives a perfect view of the waterfall and its immediate surroundings.
