On the island of Palawan, in the Philippines, El Nido reveals all its splendour at low tide. The beach, bathed in soft light, becomes the setting for a typical scene where traditional Filipino boats, known as "bangkas", rest on the damp sand. These boats, with their characteristic outriggers, seem to be suspended between sky and sea, ready to set off on a new adventure.
The contrast between the deep blue of the ocean, the golden hues of the sand and the backdrop of the karst mountains creates a landscape of unique beauty. The tranquillity that emanates from this moment is enhanced by the silence, interrupted only by the distant sound of the waves and the cry of seabirds.
El Nido, the jewel in Palawan's crown, attracts travellers in search of authenticity and unspoilt nature. The traditional boats, witnesses to the daily life of the local fishermen, tell a story of harmony between man and sea. Here, simplicity meets majesty, creating a picture that invites contemplation.
