Tree root overgrown with moss. I photographed this moss-covered tree root in the forests of Switzerland; it is the root of a spruce tree, probably a hundred or more years old. This photo has something mysterious about it because of the colour scheme. Photographed with my favourite 105 mm macro lens. On my 7th birthday, an uncle gave me a Kodak Instamatic and I became addicted to photography. I photograph almost weekly often in my own environment like in our city garden or walking through the neighbourhood.
