"Two lanterns together" is a macro photo of 2 lanterns of the lantern plant (Physalis) that have almost decayed. The lantern on the right still has part of its orange "skin" but it has already become so thin that you can clearly see the grain structure through it. (If you zoom in on this work, you can see this clearly.
The lantern on the left is already at a much further stage. The orange "skin" has already disappeared here and only a fragile structure remains. Through this vein structure, you can see the little berry of the lantern, even though it is also decaying, you can still see its orange colour.
A still life, radiating something of love and tenderness. The two lanterns stand out well in the foreground because the background colour forms a nice contrast with the lanterns.
This piece could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, study, hallway or just above the sofa! (Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!)
