U-Bein bridge is a pedestrian bridge near Amarapura in Myanmar, formerly Burma. With a distance of over 1.2 kilometres it was possibly the longest teak bridge in the world. The bridge over Lake Taungthman was built around 1870 and is named after the mayor who had it built.
