Evening light, afterglow at Uluru (Ayers Rock), Northern Territory, Red Center, Outback, Australia. For the ethnic Aborigines (Aboriginals), the indigenous people who have lived in this wilderness area for thousands of years, the sacred rock possesses spiritual power and energy.
Uluru has great spiritual, mythological and cultural significance for Aborigines and should not be climbed out of respect for this. The monolith is constantly changing colour due to the light, and at sunset, the rock formation and sky are on fire, a majestic view and breathtaking experience.
