On a warm summer evening, shortly after the sun goes down, Scheveningen's pier transforms into a place full of colour and tranquillity. The sky turns soft hues, the beach breathes silence, and the colourful pillars under the pier reflect in the shimmering wet sand. This moment, captured from a low perspective under the pier, beautifully merges the symmetry, lines and contrast of the surroundings.
The photo shows how familiar places take on new faces when the light changes and the hustle and bustle of the day disappears.
