De Inktpot in Utrecht is the largest brick building in the Netherlands and opened in 1921, commissioned by the Dutch Railways. Nowadays, this national monument is still owned by Prorail and I find it fascinating and an icon for the city of Utrecht. I copied this building in Illustrator, showing off its clean lines.
Since several years I have been an digital illustration enthousiast. Ik consider it a challenge to create art suitable for both a modern and a more classic interior. In my art I sometimes use an abstract and coarse style and sometimes a more detailed style. Also, I try to integrate many color pallets in my work which gives the art more lifelines. I hope many people will enjoy my art!
