About ‘Valdamossa, Via Blanquerna, Mallorca’ by Judith van Wijk

This photo was taken in Mallorca, in the photogenic village of Valdamossa. It was a beautiful sunny day, but if you look closely, you can see snow further down the street. Something quite unique for Mallorca, where it almost never snows! If you walk down this street, Via Blanquerna, you will see many more quaint streets, cosy terraces in the sun and promising vantage points. This street is very busy with tourists in high summer, but because I was in Mallorca in early March, I managed to capture the street scene with only a few locals on it. Just Valdamossa, as it is.
