About the artwork

Santiago Calatrava is an architect, engineer and artist. Because of his technical and artistic abilities, his architecture includes slender, almost organic forms, which are often on the edge of technical possibilities. Calatrava mainly designs larger buildings (airports, stations, bridges, opera houses, high tower blocks) and is particularly known for his elegant and technically complex bridges. This photo was taken in Valencia in the City of Arts and Sciences. I was there in the month of February and was lucky that there were not many tourists. Especially in the evening the architecture makes an enormous impression.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
