About ‘Van Nelle Factory Rotterdam’ by Ton van Buuren
On the evening that this image was made it was raining a lot, but because of the slow shutter speed and the umbrella that rain became invisible. It created a bit of "halo" to the lights. Therefore, this image of the world famous and historic Van Nelle factory differs just a bit from all the others.

I came this close to not being involved in photography. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic, with the biggest parallax error you could wish for! So I always had pictures of people without heads.
