About "Venice"

About the artwork

Venice lies on the water, it consists of small islands that are connected by bridges. Venice consists of 117 islands and 150 canals. On the islands houses and churches have been built, there is no straight street. Venice is situated in the middle of a lagoon. That's a shallow lake that lies between it and all those islands. Hundreds of trees were cut down to keep the city firm. Venice stood firmly on the tree trunks for a thousand years. That's changed in recent years. Close to Venice are many factories. They all run dirty substances into the water. As a result, the poles are broken and Venice is slowly sinking. That's why Venice is flooded 100 times a year. Venice is the city of romance.
There is much to do in Venice. Like sailing with gondolas, walking through the narrow streets and shopping of course, not to mention sitting on a terrace, and going out for dinner.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
