Steep cliffs rising at the edge of a lagoon, peaks up to 454 metres high and black sand beaches all around - that's Vestrahorn.
This mountain range lies on the Stokksnes peninsula.
Just off the coast are several islets where seals can often be seen.
Among others, the arctic tern, eider ducks, pied-billed plovers and grey fringeheads breed here in this area. Especially watch out for the arctic tern, they can be tricky if you come near them.
