During a boat trip in Portugal (Praia da Rocha), the guide told us that you can see a face in profile in the rock. The unusual shapes of the rock were created by the sea continuously colliding with the limestone. If you look closely, you can see a bulge in the middle of the right side of the rock, the nose, just above it the eye, under the nose the mouth and protruding chin. According to the guide, this would be Poseidon, the god of the sea looking out over everything.
