View of Aachen Cathedral from the Katschhof. The photo was taken from the old City Hall in the afternoon.
In the centre of the photo, the octagonal Palatine Chapel from around 800 AD can be seen. To the left of the Palatine Chapel can be seen the Gothic choir hall, an extension from the 14th century.
The tower to the right of the Palatine Chapel is also a Gothic extension from the 14th century. Nice detail is the walkway between the Palatine Chapel and the tower.
