About ‘View of Delft East Gate’ by Peter Sneijders

The Oostpoort is the only remaining city gate in the city of Delft, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The gate was built around 1400, the towers were raised in the 16th century. The Oostpoort consists of a land gate and a water gate, which are connected by the remains of a city wall.
