In the municipality of Vallehermoso, in the western part of the island of La Gomera, there is a walking route through one of the most iconic landscapes of scattered juniper trees in the Canary Islands. The landscape is the star of this bypass, which, due to its circular course over constantly changing and sloping terrain within a fairly small area, has a large number of plant species to offer. The fauna is also interesting, consisting of birds such as the raven and the eagle, which often accompany walkers on their way through the mountains of La Gomera.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
