View of the medieval village of Corigliano Calabro in the Calabria region of southern Italy. Corigliano Calabro is a small village, built on hills, near the coast of the Ionian Sea. From the village you have a view of the sea.
The streets of the village are steep and it seems that they all end up at the Castello, which was owned by the Campagna family. They handed the castle over to the Italian state about half a century ago. It then became a children's home. The castle has since been renovated and is open to the public.

The jumble of houses with roughly the same architecture and different colors give a nice picture of the village. It is lovely to stroll through Corigliano Calabro and stop occasionally to enjoy the view of the village.
