About "View of the Zuiderkerk in Amsterdam"

About the artwork

The Zuiderkerk or Janskerk was built between 1603 and 1611. The Renaissance-style design was by the Amsterdam architect Hendrick Cornelisz de Keyser son of a cabinetmaker from Utrecht who had come to Amsterdam around 1591 along with the city engineer Cornelis Bloemaert. The Zuidertoren tower was not completed until 1614 and is 68 metres high. Although the church was built for Protestant worship it was nevertheless given a name, that of St. Jan (see G.D. Bom H.Gzn).

Climbing the tower
During the summer months and by appointment, the Zuidertoren can be visited up to the first circumference. From the tower there is a beautiful view of the former Amsterdam Jewish quarter and Nieuwmarkt quarter. In the tower there is a small exhibition of carillon keyboards and clocks.

This photo is so interesting because of the atmospheric image created by the lights in the canal houses and the reflection in the water of the canal.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
