Casares is a small town in Malaga province, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It is one of the so-called 'pueblos blancos' or, white villages that are common in this region and are also a well-known tourist attraction. They are connected by the 'Ruta de los pueblos blancos', and are very picturesque, as shown here. Part of the village is on a hilltop and you can get to the much lower part via very steep streets.
