A narrow gorge opens to the Treasury as night settles and warm lamplight gathers at the base of the facade. Sandstone columns glow in soft amber while the upper carvings shift to rose and violet. Look closely and you will notice small candle halos on the ground, fine chisel lines along the capitals, and a gentle dust shimmer in the air. The sky stays deep and clean so the architecture reads clearly from shadow to highlight.
This artwork is my ode to Petra at night. I wanted stillness, reverence, and that quiet breath you take before stepping closer. The mood favors contemplation over spectacle, letting simple shape, controlled light, and patient color carry the scene.
I built it with clean vector shapes, layered grain, and subtle paper texture that recalls vintage screen print. A restrained palette of clay, rose, and indigo keeps it timeless and calm. On a wall it suits living rooms, studios, and warm neutral interiors. It pairs with wood, linen, and earth tones and adds a serene desert monument accent without clutter.
