The flowers are abstracted, but somewhat based on the Tulip tree, or Magnolia.
The beautiful colours of this early bloomer are always a source of joy for me, as spring makes its return.
I really like the transparency of water colours. Mixing the paint with more or less water creates the different transparent shapes. The pigmentation is airier than, say, oil paint, which for me appeals more to the imagination.
It is sophisticated and playful, with cheerful pink shades of colours and dark bold lines that create a very calming look. It would fit well as an eye-catcher in a minimalist interior, Scandinavian or Japandi.
My work is inspired by nature, flowers and plants, all the beauty Mother Earth gives us. My personal tribute! Let's take care of all that beauty, and use it with respect and love, nature can do very well without us, we not without nature

I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.
