About ‘Waiting for God’ by The White Rabbit

A black and white photographic study of calmness and simplicity.
This is a chair that I bought from an antique store, I was told that it had belonged to a retirement home in the area that had since closed down.

I wondered how many people had sat on that chair pondering their life, their past and what the future would bring. The next morning at 3am I took the chair to the beach near my home, placed it in the sea as the tide started to come onto the sand. I used a very slow camera shutter speed to capture the motion of both the waves and the clouds.

A simple but thoughtful image of calmness and hope.
