About "Waiting for the light"

About the artwork

In this gloomy painting, dominated by deep blue and brown tones, the viewer's gaze is drawn upwards. There, a beam of light penetrates through an upper opening into the cave or shaft, creating a mysterious atmosphere. A spiral structure opens upwards and serves as a guiding line for the eye.

In the lower third of the painting, a carefully designed body of water stretches out with waterfalls in the foreground. People stand in the water, and a figure at the far left front holds up a cross. This scene has a ritual and spiritual effect.

The painting is extremely complex and inspires numerous interpretations. The upper opening could represent a symbolic connection between heaven and earth, while the spiral structure may symbolise the cycle of life or the search for knowledge. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
