Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Warmth on a winter evening’ by Mirella Klanke

The photograph shows a round, rustic loaf of bread resting on a wooden board. The bread is firm and cut in the traditional way, with deep cross-hatch marks that have opened up during baking. The flour that remains lightly dusted on the crust subtly catches the warm light and emphasises the texture: crispy, almost audibly crumbly.

In the background, soft, golden circles of light float – blurred lights that hang like little stars in the darkness. What may not be immediately noticeable is how the loaf is slightly off-centre. This gives the image room to breathe. The wooden board shows fine grain and small signs of wear – subtle scratches that suggest a history of frequent cutting and sharing. At the bottom and on the side, you can see a soft haze of colour. It is not just any loaf of bread; it is a symbol of attention, time and care.

My view of this work: it is not just about food, but about coming home. About the moment just before someone sits down at the table. About the silence before sharing. The bread is not there as an object, but as a promise.
